• Being a powerful weapon whose construction involves the use of antlers from deer trophies and even described to be worthy of the Gods, Stagbreaker arguably alludes to Freyr from Norse Mythology who utilizes either deer antlers or a weapon fashioned from one in place of his enchanted sword which he gave away to win the heart of his jötunn lover Gerðr.
