The Stagbreaker is the first two-handed club. It has no secondary attack. The primary attack slams the ground (after a lengthy swing delay), dealing damage and knocking back everything in a spherical area of effect with a radius of four meters.

- Being a powerful weapon whose construction involves the use of antlers from deer trophies and even described to be worthy of the Gods, Stagbreaker indirectly alludes to Freyr from Norse Mythology who utilizes either deer antlers or a weapon fashioned from one in place of his enchanted sword which he gave away to win the heart of his jötunn lover Gerðr.
- It is possible when using Stagbreaker (or alternatively Iron sledge) in mountains to see the "too hard" message pop up due to buried silver or obsidian being hit by the weapon's splash damage. This, in turn, makes it possible to obtain Silver relatively easily without fighting Bonemass for Wishbone.
