Shields

Shields are weapons that can be used with other one-handed weapons. The block power, parry force and parry bonus of the weapons used with shields would be replaced by that of the shield used.

Tower shields offer the highest raw block power and force at the cost of usually 20% slower movement (this equally increases dodge roll cost) when in hand compared to other shields' 5%, and no parrying, which allows other shields to achieve higher block armor in parrying.

Buckler shields offer the best parry block armor but the weakest block armor and parry force.

Round Shields offer the most balanced option between the two extremes with moderate block power, force, Parry bonus and the movement slow tied with the Bucklers on -5% movement speed.
