Scrap iron is an item in Valheim.
General Information
Scrap Iron can be turned into Iron in a Smelter using Coal as fuel.
Availability
It can be mined from Muddy scrap piles that are primarily found within Sunken Crypts in the Swamp biome.
They can also be found inside Sunken Crypt Chests and underground in Swamps using a Wishbone. This method is not recommended however, due to the abundance in Crypts and the water-filled nature of Swamps.
Oozers can also rarely drop Scrap Iron with a drop rate of around 30%.
Notes
- Like other metals, Scrap Iron cannot be teleported.
