The Iron tower shield is the third tower shield. It has more block armor compared to Banded shield but reduces movement speed by 20% as well as increasing dodge roll cost by 20% with a lack of being able to parry, which lets the Banded shield have more block armor when parrying than the Iron tower shield has in normal blocking.
When crafting, players can customize the shield with a few different pre-set designs and colors by clicking the style button beneath the item name in the crafting window. The design can not be changed afterward.
Serpent scale shield can also be crafted with Iron while having more block power and less movement penalty, provided the player is able to hunt Serpents.
