The Iron cooking station is used to cook raw meat type ingredients into their cooked form, or if left too long, into Coal. For the meat to be cooked, it is necessary to have a Hearth or two Campfires underneath the iron cooking station.

An Iron cooking station can be used to cook all meat, including those meats too large for a regular Cooking station. Due to the size of the iron cooking station, it is slightly less space-efficient to cook smaller meats than the cooking station.

Up to five pieces of meat can be cooked at once on the iron cooking station.
