Gucksacks are resource nodes found on infested trees in Swamps. They drop Guck when destroyed and can only be damaged with axes or pickaxes.
Spawning[]
- Up to 700 infested trees are generated when the world is created.
- Each tree has up to 6 Gucksacks (66% chance for each) and up to 3 smaller Gucksacks (25% chance for each) closer to the ground.

On average, each infested tree contains ~23 Gucks. On average, each world can provide 16034 Gucks from infested trees.
Notes[]
- Gucksacks spawn high on the trees so building scaffolding with ladders and floors is needed.
- Gucksacks do not respawn. However Abominations are a renewable source for Gucks.
- Gucksacks are only vulnerable to Chop and Pickaxe damage types.
- This also allows some creatures to destroy them, since some creature types (e.g. Abominations or even Trolls) can deal chop and/or pickaxe damage with their attacks.
