Frost resistance mead is a consumable item crafted from fermenting a Mead base: Frost resistance.
Effect[]
Consuming it grants Resistant VS Frost for 600 seconds (10 minutes), which prevents the Cold and the Freezing Effect. It also reduces Frost damage taken as detailed in Resistance.
Notes[]
- A Frost resistance mead is typically necessary to craft before entering the Mountains for the first time to prevent the Freezing effect, as the other common sources of Frost resistance require Silver, Fenris hair or Wolf pelts, which is only obtainable from the Mountains.
- The Frost resistance mead, Wolf fur cape, Wolf armor chest, Fenris coat, Lox cape, and Feather cape all provide the same resistance effect, and do not stack with each other.
