General Information

Each boss has a Forsaken Power that is unlocked after hanging their trophy on the Sacrificial Stones. By default, the player's set forsaken power is activated by pressing F. Only one forsaken power can be set at a time, which is changed out at the Sacrificial Stones. All forsaken powers have a duration of 5 minutes. They also share the same 20-minute cooldown, which does not reset or reduce even when the player logs off, changes their active forsaken power, or sleeps.

Activating a power locks the player into an animation for a couple seconds. The player is unable to move or perform any action (with the exception of equipping or unequipping tools/weapons).

When activating a Forsaken Power, all players within 10 meters will also receive the benefit of the Forsaken Power activated. Thus, a party of four players can keep a Forsaken Power activated virtually indefinitely by consecutively using each player's Forsaken Power.

Eikthyr Power

Reduces stamina cost of running and jumping by 60%.

In-game description
Your ability to run and jump is improved.
Jump stamina usage: -60%
Run stamina usage: -60%

The Elder Power

Increases damage to trees by 60%.

Faster wood cutting.

Bonemass Power

Provides resistance to blunt, slash and pierce. Resistance effects reduce damage taken by 50% - 75%, depending on the amount of armor. Maximum reduction is reached when the armor value is at least half of the incoming raw damage.

Moder Power

Forces tailwind when sailing.

Always tailwind when sailing.
  • The in-game description can be misinterpreted as a permanent effect, but it still works the same as the other powers with a 5 minute duration and 20 minute cooldown.
  • This power changes the wind direction while sailing, but not wind intensity. A calm wind will not aid in travel as much as a fast wind.
  • The wind direction is only changed while steering the ship. While not in control of a ship, the wind will remain at its regular angle.
  • The wind change is local to each player carrying the buff and does not affect each other's wind direction.
  • This power is best saved for when there is headwind since crosswind (perpendicular to travel direction) and tailwind are about equally good for sailing.
  • This power will not affect the wind if you are too close to the world's edge.

Yagluth Power

Provides resistance to fire, frost and lightning. Resistance effects reduce damage taken by 50% - 75%, depending on the amount of armor. Maximum reduction is reached when the armor value is at least half of the incoming raw damage.
