Corewood is a different type of wood used in early building and crafting recipes. The main benefit of Corewood compared with common Wood is a greater support factor, which allows construction of larger and taller buildings.

- Chop Pine Trees found in the Black Forest, or grown from Pine cones with a Cultivator.
- Can be cut with a Stone axe.
