Most wikis I've been to there's a comment section but here there is no comment section?
I don't need much - up to 10 hours of Valheim per week, antidepressants and lets roll on this let's play called life, it's okay... but sometimes things happen...
Goin around in my Karve, sightseeing your spawn surroundings and then... Stop, wait a minute!
You'll think it's just lightning, right? RIGHT?! F5, devcommands, freefly, pause, remove the interface, let's fly!
It's a Bird... It's a Plane...
It's me, laughing out loud! Thor, are you drunk from the Ragnarok club, being taken home by heavenly reindeers to sleep?) I even unpaused and followed, until the UFO disappeared from the loading area around the character. I wonder if, given the simplicity of the graphics and the relative distance from the player's camera view, will they work with a more interesting model? Maybe even animation...
We definitely need to add an article))
Often when i fill up the furnace it displays 11/10
I know that in the past, the bow skill reduced draw speed, reduced stamina consumption, increased damage, and increased knockback, but after all the updates, I recently looked at the bow skill and it says that it only increases damage with bows. Does it still do the other buffs or does it only reduce damage now? I can't really tell and I am not sure if the wiki is accurate. Thanks for the help.
I just encountered Hugin with a message that I was not able to find anywhere on the Internet, including the wiki. See the attached image.
I went into the cave anyway, and it turned out to be Howling Caverns with Geirrhafa inside of it. I have not taken any quests from Hildir yet, but I did locate her already.
I though about adding it to the wiki, but I'm not sure how it should be described, and whether my guess is actually correct. In particular, I'm guessing that this message appears when approaching any Hildir's quest location.
Ребят, на болоте я встретил ЭТО, как туда попасть я без малейшего представления, декорация или данж? Неизвестно, так как это рядом с водой и туда не попась, хоть там и видно лестницу опускающую вниз
Due to medical reasons (crushed disk between c2 & c3) I haven't played in a year. Now that I can use my hands again I can try to play again. The question I have is, do I have to start a new world for all the new stuff to work?
If you're looking for something to do in your world besides beat bosses and level up here are some build ideas.
Armory: armor and weapons organized by each biome they are used in/ come from primarily. Probably a good idea to build this close to your house just in case.
Kitchen: A place to have all cooking and food storage, as well as a fancy room to store individual ingredients!
Harbor: Having ships is an important part of Valheim so having a harbor with docks and a repair/ storage building could be helpful in the long run. (personally, I've found needing a place to repair my ships helpful)
Watch towers: When your base gets raided by trolls or drauger having a place to shoot enemies from up high by your base can help out and minimize damage to other areas of your home. Though I would recommend building a watch tower out of stone, wood is too fragile.
Farmhouse: because food is one of the most important parts of Valheim having a place where you can breed boar and grow crops in an organized fashion is useful. Having a small building for tools and storage surrounded by large fields and animal pens will be super useful.
Smithing house: This should be a larger building where you can place multiple furnaces and different kinds of workbenches. You could also keep your gold and other riches from your adventures here.
Portal house/ area: Keeping all portals close together saves time so putting them in a nicely decorated area might be a fun add-on to your base. Also, make sure to label them with signs for more ease.
It's leveling up my fist skill, which is incredibly helpful for me in the early game(unlike Hugin) and I just want to know if there is another way to improve my skills faster through this method, or in a more helpful way. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I saw that wood would set on fire is this wooden walls or trees if it is tree how do I do
When can we expect Ashland be released properly? :)
The radius of the cylinder around Hildir is approximately 25m. I just tested this yesterday with some pals in the hopes that we could create a large enough workbench zone to protect form mob spawns within the base we built around Hildir's area. It was fairly difficult to get a reasonably accurate idea given the terrain near her in our seed is only 1-4m above sea level, but we were able to set up a square around the cylinder of unbuildable area that measured 50m a side.
I am putting this out there for those who might have the desire to build around the traders without modifying the game to eliminate their 'no-build' zone. Given how much trouble we were having with mob spawns inside the base, it became necessary to actually do some math on things in order to eliminate the possibility that the mobs were spawning as a consequence of the uncovered area within and around the cylindrical 'no-build' zone.
If you're having the same trouble, then you should build 4 fully upgraded workbenches in a '+' shaped pattern at the midpoints of each of the 50m sides of the square or on the corners of the 50m sides. Each of the four fully upgraded workbenches have an active radius of 36m. Collectively, they fully block out the entirety of the area of the 25m radius 'no-build' zone cylinder and ensure that spawns near the edge of this zone are blocked. Alternatively, you can do 4 workbenches with only two upgrades in the '+' pattern and an additional 4 non-upgraded workbenches on each corner of the 50m square.
We love having Hildir close to home for her nice non-portalable fireplaces. However, the base's large area of approximately 25 square kilometers is a breeding ground for food mobs and aggressive mobs. They seem to start coming in and eliminating workbenches from her camp, so the clearest solution at the moment is eliminating the possibility that the game tries to spawn things near her camp and doesn't stop until they find an open pixel untouched by workbenches and other structures.
There are lots of conflicting arguments about what does and does not stop mob spawns. I am unaware of a full-proof solution, save for those which involve disabling the mystical zone and allowing players to build directly within her camp (one fully upgraded workbench directly in the center of the camp would solve this entire problem). Many people recommend fires, flattening/pathing out the ground, and even trying to make an intentional mob spawner within the base that is outfitted with spike defenses to automate material collection. I have seen no clear evidence one way or another on these alternatives to workbenches, but if there is a better way (without altering the game) please give me a shout. I don't want to waste 16 iron for this dwarven lass.
Hello, I just started in Valheim, but I was looking for any server, can you recommend me some good server? No matter if the server have mods.

I’ve been playing a hardcore world where I try and progress without killing bosses. The Wiki says trolls will only raid once the elder is defeated, however I was still raided by trolls??? I believe this is false information, there is some other progression or factors that can trigger the event. Has anyone else noticed/experienced this happen with their world?
Me and my friend just defeated moder have not found Hilder or any of the mini bosses to fight yet. Any ideas on where to look. (specific coordinates on where you usually find them?)
How about translating Valheim wiki into Chinese. It is hard for my friends to read english in this website
